Peking University DPS Delegation Visits Yale for Cross-Disciplinary Dialogue
On July 13, 2024, a delegation of more than 20 students from the DPS (Doctor of Professional Studies in Business) program at China Center for Economic Research Peking University, led by Dr. Zhuang Yang, visited Yale University. They engaged in lively discussions with local students, professors, and scholars on topics such as biomedicine, technology, and cross-cultural communication. Dr. Jing Yan and Dr. Miaowei Weng, representing the CAPA-CT, participated in the on-site dialogue, engaging in cross-disciplinary exchanges with the visiting guests from their respective fields.

I keep thinking that this is such a good question to reflect upon myself to search for reasons why I give up my position at The Johns Hopkins to come to UConn Health. My very favorable experiences with Connecticut were the foundation that I like CT. After I earned my PhD in Philadelphia, I was fortunate to secure my intern resident position at the then Yale-Norwalk Hospital internal medicine residency program and later on to finish my Diagnostic Radiology residency at the same hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital.

The Chinese-American Professors Association in Connecticut (CAPA-CT) hosted its annual meeting and joint conference with the Asian Faculty Association at Yale (AFAY) on May 4th, 2024, at the Marsh Lecture Hall of Yale Science Building. The conference theme was “Embracing Challenges and Opportunities: Perspectives of Asian American Scholars.”
